The Maruti Frontex is a coupe SUV that is based on the company’s Baleno, which comes with two different engine options. These consist of a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, NA gasoline engine and a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine. Although the turbo engine can produce 99 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque, this engine can only produce 89 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. There are three different gearbox options: a 6-speed torque converter automatic, an AMT, and a 5-speed manual.
