Kia EV9

Set to debut in the Indian market in late 2024 or early 2025, the Kia EV9 electric SUV will be introduced as a flagship model. New-Gen Kia Carnival may be introduced in the Indian market soon. This MPV is going to receive several exterior and interior updates compared to its predecessor. The premium MPV is expected to be available in seven- and nine-seat configurations and will feature substantial technological advancements both inside and out. This 7-seater boasts of a technologically advanced cabin while promising an impressive claimed range of 541 km in the WLTP cycle. This SUV will be offered with premium material finish and 27-inch ultra-wide display. It was previously showcased in concept form at the 2023 Auto Expo.

it will be equipped with a 2.2 liter diesel engine, which will give a power output of 200 PS and torque of 440 Nm. This powertrain will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. However, the latest Carnival in international markets comes with different powertrain and gearbox options. In India, it will compete directly with Toyota Innova Highcross.

Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV

Another great vehicle in the Indian markets which seats seven and talking about the expected launch, it is reported to be launched in May 2024. Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is a flagship electric sedan offered in the form of CBU. Reports have revealed that the AMG 53 4Matic+ will be powered by an electric motor setup and will be mated to a 107.8 kWh battery pack with a maximum charging rate of 200 kWh.

A few of cars highlights are the 15-speaker Burmester 710 sound system and Autonomous parking with automated emergency braking and adaptive cruise control are among the safety features.\

The Kia Carens EV is expected to arrive in the second half of next year and the brand is also preparing to introduce a new nameplate in the form of Clavis. The compact SUV will be positioned above the Sonet and will be introduced as an ICE model before the electric version arrives sometime next year.
