The Volkswagen Virtus GT Plus Sport has red GT marking on the grille, fender, and rear profile, dark chrome door handles, red brake calipers up front, and darkened headlamps. It also has a Carbon Steel Grey roof. Glossy black paint is used to complete a number of parts, including the spoiler, 16-inch wheels, window line, diffuser, ORVMs, and front grille.

Inside, the latest model in the Volkswagen Virtus line-up features aluminum pedals, glossy black dashboard decor, black leatherette seats with grey stitching, a black roof headliner, a Sport steering wheel with red highlights and a GT insert, and a Sport steering wheel. Sun visors, grab grips, and the housing of the roof lamp are all coated in glossy black.

A 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, TSI turbo-petrol engine with 250Nm of torque and 148 horsepower powers the Virtus GT Plus Sport. A seven-speed DSG gearbox is used for transmission duties; a six-speed manual gearbox may also be available.
